JOB PURPOSE:  

Direct and manage the overall program of instrumental music and band for the middle school. Work in collaboration with the High School Band Director to provide students with an opportunity to participate in extracurricular band activities and ensure compliance with all state and district requirements. Plan activities to achieve district, regional and State recognition.    

Prefer:  Bilingual Candidates

Prefer – Member of National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and teaches toward NAfME standards

Prefer – Performs on an instrument
